Graduation card

My childrens cousin graduated from school and I made him this quick card. The image from Bugaboo fits perfectly and I coloured it with water-color pencils. I love this kind of card where you get to use the little left-over pieces of paper that fill your drawers. I'm entering this card in the drawing over at Catch the bug. The theme of the week is anything goes.

Halloween

This is my first Halloween card of the year! I just love Halloween and even though we originally don't celebrate Halloween in Sweden it is growing in popularity. This year my son and I´ve been trying to grow our own pumpkins, but the project doesn't seem to end very successfully. We have two pumpkins growing but they are not round at all, our lanterns will be very narrow and tall this year...

Well, back to the card, Catch the bug has a sketch challenge this week that fit perfectly to a halloween card. The DP is from BoBunny, the cat a digi from Bugaboo and the sentiment is a sticker from my local craft store.

Birthday card with a pirate

I used a lot of layers on this birthday card that I made for my son´s friend. The colour-combo is not one I use very often, but I think it all kind of works together. I really like the pirate digi-stamp from Bugaboo stamps, very useful for childrens cards.

I'm entering this card into this week´s Anything goes challenge over at Catch the Bug.

Good Luck Card

Tomorrow my husband is participating in a 90 km long mountain-bike race called Cykelvasan. The race goes from the town Sälen to a town called Mora here in Sweden. I made this card for him with my and the kids good luck wishes inside. I bought this digi a few month ago with this specific purpose in mind and luckily I stumbled over a DP with a bike-pattern to accompany it a few weeks back. Other than that I kept the card pretty simple with just a few decorations.

I'm entering this card to this week's challenge over at Catch the Bug - Anything goes.

Water challenge

Summer, sun and lots of swimming in the sea! I was so inspired by this weeks water-theme over at catch the bug, that I had to make a card right away. Usually when I make my cards, I make them with a certain person in mind that I will give the card to, but that wasn't the case this time. Right away I thought of this image and the dp I wanted to use. It doesn't show at all in the picture, but the cyclops and bubbles have some glossy accent on them and I added some extra "bubbles" in the form of pearls. When I decide to whom I will give this card, I might add a sentiment or name or something. And then again I might not - I sort of like it the way it is as well.

Clean and simple

This week it's "Clean and simple" over at Catch the bug. Since my style usually tend to lean towards the clean and simple style, this is a theme of my liking. This week I´m entering the card below, that I have made for my sisters new-born baby girl, Kerstin. I really like this digi-stamp and I wanted it to dominate the card. As decoration I just added a few rhinestones and a text-stamp that says "little miracle" in swedish. Very clean and simple to my eye. If you scroll down you get to see the little miracle only four days old.

Anything goes - again

It might seem as though I only take part in the weekly challenges over at Catch the Bug when the theme is anything goes. However that is not true, the themes always inspire me to make cards but I'm a really bad blogger so I end up not posting my card in time. And then I end up not posting at all.

Well, well...this week I'm entering this birthdaycard in the drawing. I made this clean-and simple card for my sisters birthday. Originally I thought of this bunny as an easter-bunny, but I think it works just as well for almost any occation. The text say "Hip Hip hurray" in swedish. I coloured the bunny with promarkers and the little heart got some pink stickles to shine.
