Shopping our stash - challenge 33

I stumbled in to the Shopping our stash blog just before christmas and this will be my first time participating in one of the challenges. The challenge this time is to redo any of their earlier challenges or simply use a Meljen's image. Since I'm new to the site I decided to go with the meljen-take on my card. Since Meljen's design is one of my favorite places for digi-stamps I have a collection of my own. I have been thinking for a while that I wanted to do a card using red, but not for a christmas-card and this is the result

Sketch 146

This is my take on Sketch 146 over at Cardpatterns. The cute whale is from Meljen's design and the DP is Echo Park's series splash. Dull photoweather doesn't do the colours justice, but these photos will have to do anyway. I think you still get the idea of the card, just imagine the colours a bit brighter.
